The Forest Preserves is following the guidance provided by our public health experts to protect our employees and our visitors.
Indoor Permitted events will operate as follows:
- We have returned to standard capacity for available indoor room rentals (Dan Ryan Pavilion- 120 guests, Thatcher Pavilion- 80 guests East Room/40 guests West Room, VRC – 100 guests Community Room/40 guests Classroom)
- Masks are required indoors regardless of vaccination status except for while at the table eating.
- Masks are not required outdoors when social distancing can be maintained.
After a very difficult year, we hope COVID-19 indicators will continue to move in a positive direction and, in the near future, we can return to normal. We will closely monitor the evolving situation and make adjustments based on science and guidance from our public health experts.
